The Brick Factory Nominated for Prestigious Award!
#TeamBrick is absolutely delighted to announce that The Brick Factory, our unique business automation tool designed for the print on demand and custom merchandising industries, has been nominated for a coveted innovation award at this year's NW SME Growth & Innovation Awards. Hosted by the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) Productivity & Innovation Centre at Edge Hill University, the awards ceremony will take place tonight.
Edge Hill University was established well over a century ago in 1885 and has grown to become one of the UK's leading educational establishments. The many achievements of the university and its students has resulted in numerous awards and accolades, most notably Educate North Awards' University of the Year for 2020/2021 and being named Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide for 2022.
Edge Hill University’s internationally-recognised Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) Productivity & Innovation Centre is funded in part by the European Regional Development Fund. The award-winning centre was established to 'provide innovation support and advisory services' for SMEs in Lancashire and Liverpool. Since the centre was opened, almost 200 SMEs have accessed its fully-funded support services, helping them to 'address their growth and scale-up challenges and opportunities and to develop financially feasible solutions'.
The exclusive NW SME Growth & Innovation Awards exist to recognise the many achievements of nominated SMEs and help to raise their business profile across the Lancashire region and beyond. Awards are given in five categories: Business Strategy, Investment in Leadership and Management Capabilities, Technology Adoption, Skills for Growth and Product/Service Innovation. It is in this last category that The Brick Factory has been nominated for an award.
As previously mentioned, the Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday 10th November and representatives from #TeamBrick are excitedly preparing to attend. Accompanied by a gala three-course dinner, the ceremony will be held at the newly-refurbished Bliss Hotel, which is located in a stunning waterfront location in Southport.
The Brick Factory truly deserves its nomination for an innovation award and, in our own humble opinion, truly deserves to win as well! A purpose-built, fully-realised business automation tool.
