Brickweb Workshop to Focus on Twitter - Tuesday 5th March
Since its launch in July 2006, Twitter has grown to become one of the most visited sites on the internet. At the end of 2012, Twitter had more than half a billion registered users and handled over 1.6 billion search queries every day.
The social network site's users generate around 350 million 'tweets', the name given to the short text messages that are the primary function of the website, every day. It has global popularity and, as well as being used by individuals, is also used by businesses and other organisations as a fantastic marketing tool, offering the opportunity to have products and services seen by a global audience. The phenomenon of 're-tweeting' where a user's message is posted on a different user's wall can lead to incredible growth and popularity as the branching process continues.
Twitter continues to grow in importance with regards to e-commerce and m-commerce. Advertising opportunities are infinite within this massive online community and many companies and businesses that have embraced the technology are seeing many benefits in terms of increased awareness of the business which has led to higher revenue. American Express and Twitter recently unveiled a new Pay-by-Tweet service which will allow users to make purchases simply by sending a tweet. This new method of purchasing looks set to increase dramatically as more businesses learn how to use the important website to optimise and maximise their potential.
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the most comprehensive, up-to-date and personal internet marketing service available, we offer free workshops to our clients. These focused meetings help us to share our broad range of knowledge and offer our clients an insight into how we can work with them to create the best internet marketing strategy possible. As well as sharing vital information, these workshops also give Brickweb clients a chance to meet each other in an informal setting. Previous workshops have been well-attended and all clients remarked on how informative they have been. Our next workshop will take place at 2pm on Tuesday 5th March at our Blackburn office and will focus on the very best methods of using Twitter to its full advantage in order to drive your business forward into the future.
